Our Story
Hidden away on the north side of the Moose Mountains, is one of Saskatchewan's only professional rodeos. First established in 1932, the Moose Mountain Pro Rodeo has grown over the years to become one of the most competitive rodeo events in Saskatchewan. You'll recognize contestants from events such as The Calgary Stampede and the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton who make sure to add the MMPR to their summer schedule.
This rodeo weekend is a great event for the entire family. On Friday you can find the "Slack" rodeo performance which helps accomodate all the contestants who can't make the two main performances. Saturday has the Parade, followed by the Satuday Evening Rodeo Perfomance and Beer Gardens, ending with the infamous Cabaret Dance. Sunday has an afternoon rodeo performance and beer gardens. There is free camping available at the rodeo grounds, and lots of fun to be had.
